With reasonable rates and professional friendly service you will very likely find my services playing the piano are one of the least expensive items on your wedding list, but will be amongst the best-loved memories of you and your guests.Charges will vary depending on distance, hours worked and as to whether there is already a suitable piano installed in your venue.Although I charge extra for excessive mileage away from my base in the Truro Falmouth area in Cornwall, I do start from a very modest initial charge so may still be the cheapest to book, as well as one of the best musicians, so do make sure you ask for a quote anyway.I will not be offended if I am unsuitable because of excessive distance and usually am the first to warn you if I think it may be too far away to make sense for you. |

While I am always delighted to find a fine piano in situ and reduce charges accordingly, if there is no piano, for a small extra charge I bring my own fine digital instrument, virtually indistinguishable in sound and musical expression from a real concert grand piano. I do of course also specialise in playing piano for other occasions, including family parties and get-togethers, wedding anniversaries and corporate events, and when a French or Italian flavour is required for the proceedings my amazing Roland accordion is a very popular choice with the appropriate style of music.I have a very wide repertoire, often playing selections of well-known songs, including jazz, pop ballads or popular classics for several hours without repetition and will try to include any special requests possible for you. |

The versatility derives from my clasical training (I am a Fellow and Graduate of Trinity College of Music London) followed by a long professional career as a musician in the Yorkshire clubs, where audiences have the reputation of judging you without mercy if they do not like what they hear!During this period I worked with and played for many acts and singers in all styles, including some famous TV names, which contributed to the range of material I can now present.I am now based in Falmouth Cornwall and my lowest rates are available anywhere within 35 miles of there , with just a small supplement for successively larger distances I have a wide and very up-to-date selection of instruments including the latest Roland Portable piano the FP7F with superb natural sounds and action, The Roland FR7x accordion which is very much more than a standard accordion to add a continental flavour to your celebrations, a Yamaha Tyros which is very effective for danching, and now even The Roland Atelier AT 350C Combo organ which can even add the majestic tones of the traditional wedding music to your hotel wedding.
